Droa’s Khoshtaria: Anyone who preannounces revolution is simply comic liar, useful idiot, or GD and SSSG rep
“Anyone who declares in advance that a revolution will occur at this specific time is simply a comic liar, a useful idiot, or a GD supporter and a SSSG rep,” Elene Khoshtaria, a leader of the Droa party within the Coalition for Change, posted on social media.
According to Khoshtaria, the protest movement is unified and relentless, progressing until the system is fundamentally overhauled.
“History does not record a single instance of a revolution pre-announced. Perhaps it’s not due to a lack of intelligence or foresight, but because revolutions are natural processes, moments when the collective struggle for an idea reaches its culmination. Anyone claiming there will be a revolution at a specific time is either a comic liar, a useful idiot, or a GD supporter and State Security Service rep. It’s not my concern what motives they have for trying to distort the truth; what matters most is not to deceive the people, the prisoners, the steadfast demonstrators who have been standing for days without giving up, those fighting selflessly.
As for October 4, it’s a date fabricated by Bidzina, a lie and a game. I don’t care about October 4. Every day, we must work tirelessly to overthrow the system, on July 30, July 31, and every day thereafter. Our focus is on continuous action.
July 19 proved that our protest is consolidated and working. We will demonstrate this in Batumi on August 2, and we will not stop until the system is overthrown through internal resolve and external pressure. I cannot give you an exact date – that would be a lie, but I assure you, we will persist until our goal is achieved,” Khoshtaria wrote.
She outlined the core principles of their resistance:
“1. Non-cooperation, 2. Delegitimisation, 3. Social isolation, 4. Continuous, peaceful, and powerful protests by the public, 5. International pressure. And, if someone claims to possess a magic wand to trigger a revolution on a specific day, why are they holding onto it until October 4? You cannot treat your society or your conscience with such contempt.
Today, the United National Movement chair has clearly articulated the vision and direction of our struggle, with responsibility, understanding, and principle. A reliable partnership is built on this foundation,” Khoshtaria wrote.
