Director-General of Infectious Diseases, AIDS and Clinical Immunology Research Center, Tengiz Tsertsvadze, does not confirm Covid-19 reinfection cases in Georgia.

“Some persons reported that they have been reinfected with Covid-19. Such cases are sent to the Lugar Lab. These reports have not been confirmed so far,” Tsertsvadze said.

Georgia reported 234 coronavirus cases, 349 recoveries, and nine deaths on Sunday.

Georgia’s total case tally reached 272,851, among them 266,693 people recovered and 3,576 died.
