Director and actor Nugzar Bagration-Gruzinsky passed away

Georgian Director and actor Nugzar Bagration-Gruzinsky passed away, the Tumanishvili Film Actors Theater reported.

“Nugzar Bagration-Gruzinsky was one of the founders and founders of the Tumanishvili Film Actors Theater, the best student of Mikheil Tumanishvili and his constant companion, director and teacher, the son of the poet Petre Gruzinsky, a descendant of the Bagrations,” the Theater said.

The Theater extended condolences to Nugzar Bagration-Gruzinsky’s family, relatives, colleagues and entire Georgia.

Nugzar Bagration-Gruzinsky worked at Georgian television in 1975 and 1980-1984. In addition, in 1991-1994 he taught at the Arts Academy, in 1996-1997 he was the chief director of the Griboedov Theater, and since 1997 he was the chief director at the Tumanishvili Film Actors Theater.
