Dialysis services launched in Akhalkalaki, Kvareli, Martvili, Khulo

Dialysis services have been started in the towns of Akhalkalaki, Kvareli, Martvili, and Khulo, the Georgian Health Ministry reported.

Previously, patients had to travel several times a week to different cities, and that was related to health risks and additional expenses.

“With the launch of dialysis services in these locations, beneficiaries will now have access to the service in their cities, minimizing the need for extensive travel.

The medical facilities with necessary dialysis equipment and trained medical personnel will provide daily services. Plans include expanding dialysis services to additional cities in the future,” the Ministry stated.
