Deputy Interior Minister: Migration and Mobility Agreement with Germany seeks to facilitate orderly migration

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Aleksandre Darakhvelidze, on Thursday, said the Migration and Mobility Agreement between Georgia and Germany seeks to facilitate the orderly migration of Georgian citizens.

“The agreement is crucial for our country, especially on its EU integration path. Further working groups will be established per the agreement to consider significant matters such as the circular migration of our nationals to the German labour market, including the extension of their employment areas,” Darakhvelidze noted.

Deputy Minister added that the so-called Balkan model was not discussed during the meeting between the parties.
