Shalva Tadumadze, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, and the Director of the Forensic and Criminalistics Department, Tengiz Sisauri, held a working meeting with the head of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), David Kennedy.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, the parties discussed priority areas of cooperation and future plans in detail.
In particular, the discussion focused on strengthening the capabilities of the chemical laboratory of the Forensic and Criminalistics Department, equipping the laboratory with modern technologies, improving the qualifications of personnel, and creating a specialized continuing education module.
The Ministry noted that it has been actively cooperating with the U.S. Department of Defense’s Defense Threat Reduction Agency for many years, with a number of joint projects implemented in various fields over that time.
