Deputy Economy Minister, Irakli Nadareishvili, on Wednesday, hosted the UK’s Export Minister, Malcolm Offord, to discuss trade and economic cooperation.
Speaking of investment, Nadareishvili asserted that the United Kingdom has been among the leading investing nations in recent years.
In addition, the Ministry’s press office noted that the parties discussed tourism cooperation which is “growing dynamically.” In this context, the parties noted that direct flights between Georgia and the United Kingdom would further enhance that cooperation.
The meeting also focused on regional challenges facing the UK and Georgia.
