Deputy Defense Minister attends Ramstein Format meeting

Deputy Minister of Defense of Georgia, Grigol Giorgadze, took part in the 30th online meeting of the Ramstein Format.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the session was co-chaired by the UK Secretary of State for Defense, John Healey, and the German Defense Minister, Boris Pistorius. The participants were also addressed by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.

The ministry reported that members of the international group discussed the current situation in the ongoing war in Ukraine. The meeting brought together defense ministers and senior officials from allied and partner countries.

The Ramstein Format was launched in April 2022 at the initiative of the United States. Since February 13, 2025, it has been jointly coordinated by the United Kingdom and Germany.
