Delta, Tbilaviamsheni, and Motor Sich sign memorandum of cooperation

Georgian Defense Minister, Irakli Gharibashvili, hosted the Motor Sich delegation, the largest manufacturer of aircraft and helicopters. The meeting held at the Ministry of Defense addressed the current issues and further cooperation with one of the world-leading Ukrainian military-industrial companies.

Cooperation with Motor Sich aims at the military industry development and the modernization of the defense forces’ aircraft, the Defense Ministry of Georgia reported.

The partners will implement joint projects aimed at overhauling and modernizing the engines of the multifunctional helicopter Mi-8.

Motor Sich is one of the world-leading companies that has been manufacturing aircraft and helicopter engines for over 100 years. Motor Sich products are used by more than 100 countries of the world on different types of aircraft,” the press statement reads.
