Defense Minister hosts new Turkish Ambassador

Georgian Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze hosted the newly appointed Turkish Ambassador to Georgia, Ali Kaan Orbai.

The parties reviewed the security situation in the region and bilateral defence cooperation, having emphasized the importance of strategic partnership. Defense Minister highlighted the importance of the tailored support package adopted at the NATO Summit in Madrid.

Georgia’s Minister Burchuladze thanked the Turkish Ambassador for supporting Georgia’s territorial integrity, sovereignty, and Euro-Atlantic integration ambitions.
