Defence Minister holds farewell meeting with U.S. Ambassador

Georgian Defence Minister Juansher Burchuladze held a farewell meeting with U.S. Ambassador to Georgia Kelly Degnan.

Juansher Burchuladze thanked Kelly Degnan for her prolific work and wished her success in future activities.

The Minister highlighted the Ambassador’s role in Georgia-US multilateral and tight cooperation in the defence sphere.

The sides summed up joint and US-supported projects, stressing the defence and resilience initiative signed between Georgia and the U.S. during the visit of U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin to Georgia.

Joseph Bilbo, Defense Attaché at the U.S. Embassy, and Alan Purcell, Deputy Chief of Mission, attended the meeting at the Defense Ministry.
