Dead body of Georgian fighter killed in Ukraine repatriated

The dead body of the Georgian fighter killed in Ukraine on April 16, Arkady Kastadze, has been repatriated to Georgia.

Kasradze’s corpse was brought to the homeland through Poland. Georgians met the corpse at the Tbilisi International Airport with the Georgian and Ukrainian flags and lit candles.

Corpses of two other Georgian fighters Zaza Bitsadze and Alika Tsaava will be repatriated on April 25.

Nine Georgian volunteer fighters died in Ukraine in fight against Russian aggressors.
