Davit Chichinadze not ruling out launch of procedures for Irakli Kobakhidze’s dismissal
Davit Chichinadze, lawmaker of the parliamentary majority does not rule out launch of procedures for sacking of Irakli Kobakhidze, Chairman of Parliament, from post. Chichinadze explained that process around Gedevan Popkhadze, Majority MP, had to be stopped.
“Time will show what causes crisis in the parliament. However, I do not respect opinions of those people, who feel affection for their position and remain in a political team for this post,” Chichinadze stated and added that the team had resources to settle everything internally.
Gedevan Popkhadze severely insulted his teammates, – Irakli Kobakhidze, Speaker of the Parliament said when commenting on the decision of MP Popkhadze’s quitting the majority.
Gedevan Popkhadze, lawmaker quit the parliamentary majority on April 4. Popkhadze said that his decision was connected to approval of Ninia Kakabadze by the parliament as a member of Board of Trustees of Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB).
