Davit Arakhamia: We first hit Ivanishvili financially, as we learnt from Americans, then we target him personally

Davit Arakhamia, the head of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s party in Parliament, said the entire circle of ex-Georgian PM, the ruling Georgian Dream party founder Bidzina Ivanishvili, had been sanctioned by the Ukrainian President’s order.

In an interview with TV Pirveli, Arakhamia expressed hope that “the Georgian media will publish those names shortly.”

“First of all, we will hit him financially, we have learned this from the Americans, and then we will attack Ivanishvili personally. I hope this is good news for free Georgia.

As promised, I continue to work on sanctioning Georgian oligarchs, those who prevent Georgia from joining the European Union,” he stressed.

Four Georgian citizens, Alexander Ivanishvili, Ucha Mamatsashvili, Tate Mamatsashvili, and Ketevan Kharaidze, were added to Ukraine’s sanctions list.
