Danish PM says Ukraine in focus, but other neighbor countries should not be forgotten

Ukraine is the main focus but other neighbor countries like Georgia and Moldova should not be forgotten, said Mette Frederiksen, Prime Minister of Denmark during the panel discussion Beyond the Alliance: Partnering up for European Security.

“When you ask what we should do in the future – spend more on our defense capabilities. This is first what we should do. As far as we can, we should help Ukraine with weapons, modernization and we should do it fast. Also, we should work together, build strong partnership,” she said.

The Munich Security Conference (MSC) is the world’s leading forum for debate on international security. Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili is attending the conference.
