The damage caused by the disaster to Sachkhere municipality exceeds 1 million GEL.

The mayor of the municipality told the Georgian First Channel. The heavy rains damaged internal rural roads, gabions, as well as farms.

“Once the relevant documents are prepared, we will apply to the Disaster Relief Fund of the Ministry of Infrastructure with a request for assistance,” – Mayor said.
