Culture Ministry: Georgia successfully hosts Junior Eurovision Contest 2025

Georgia successfully hosted the 2025 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, with the final show taking place in Olympic City, the Ministry of Culture of Georgia reported.

The winner of the contest was France’s Lou Deleuze, while Georgia’s representative, Anita Abgariani, secured third place with 176 points.

The final brought together performers aged 9 to 14 from 18 European countries. The Junior Eurovision Song Contest was broadcast live in 20 countries, reaching an average audience of approximately 70 million viewers worldwide.

The 2025 Junior Eurovision Song Contest was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Starring Georgia, and the Georgian Public Broadcaster.

Commenting on the event, Minister of Culture Tinatin Rukhadze said:

“We hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest with great dignity. Today, we reached an audience of 70 million viewers, and through this show we conveyed the proud history of our country. Around 1,500 people were involved in the preparation of this event, including a Georgian creative team. I would like to thank the Public Broadcaster, Basa Potskhishvili and his team, who enriched the show with Georgian elements, as well as Starring Georgia for organizing the event at the highest level. I also thank the commission established by the Prime Minister’s decree and all the agencies involved in ensuring the successful hosting of this international event. Today, Georgia demonstrated a truly European standard of quality to the world.”
