Cultural Heritage Preservation Agency to mark International Museum Day with various events

The National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia released information on planned activities and events organized for International Museum Day, celebrated on May 18 each year or around this date.

“May 18 is an International Museum Day. On the occasion of this day, entrance into museums and museum preserves of the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation will be free.

Various interesting activities are planned throughout the day in each museum. In addition, on May 23, as part of the ‘Night at the Museum’ project, night events will be organized in the museums operating under the agency.

Attendance is free, while museums will be hosting visitors in their usual working mode,” the Agency said.
