Croatia exceptional supporter of Georgia's Euro-Atlantic integration, FM Darchiashvili says

“Croatia is one of the countries that exceptionally backs Georgia’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration, and this was anew underscored during the bilateral meetings between the Prime Ministers today,” Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili stated on Monday.

Darchiashvili went on to say that the Croatian PM had “very specific emphasis on Croatia’s support for Georgia. “I am sure that both Croatia and our friendly EU countries will spare no effort for our country to receive candidate status by the end of the year.”

“Georgian PM’s visit [to Croatia] is historic, which will certainly bring concrete tangible results for our country’s European and Euro-Atlantic future,” he added.

As part of the Georgian PM’s visit to Croatia, the Georgian Embassy opened in Zagreb, Croatia’s north-western capital.
