COVID testing is underway in two villages of Gardabani municipality

Extended testing has started in two villages of Gardabani Municipality, Karajalar and Karataklia.

Six groups of epidemiologists have been mobilized on the ground since morning. They have already been relocated to different places in Karajalar.

Today, up to 700 people will be tested with PCR technology.

There are a total of 23 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Gardabani. 14 cases have been reported in Karajalari. The source of infection of three people is unknown. Up to 60 people have been transferred to quarantine space.

Late last night, 126 tests were sent from Karajalari and Karataklia to the Lugar center and results of 75 tests are expected today. Today, the Coordination Council will discuss the issue of locking down these two villages in Gardabani.
