Courtney Austrian appointed US Chargé d’Affaires to Georgia

The US Embassy has announced the appointment of Courtney Austrian as the new US Chargé d’Affaires ad interim to Georgia.

The diplomatic mission further confirmed that Amy W. Diaz, who had been serving as Acting Chargé d’Affaires, has returned to her core post as Deputy Chief of Mission.

“We are pleased to announce the arrival of Chargé d’Affaires Courtney Austrian at the US Embassy. Amy W. Diaz has resumed her role as Deputy Chief of Mission,” the US Embassy statement read.
