Court sentenced imprisonment to four persons detained in connection with Tsotne Gamsakhurdia’s case
Tbilisi City Court has sentenced imprisonment as a preventive measure to four persons, Tato Gharibashvili, Giorgi Sologashvili, Petre Kuparadze and Kakha Chkhetiani, accused of the attempted murder of Tsotne Gamsakhurdia and not reporting the crime.
As for Tornike Kvatadze, arrested on charges of not reporting the crime, he was released from the courtroom.
Tato Gharibashvili and Giorgi Sologashvili are charged for attempted murder in the aggravated circumstances, committed in a group; Petre Kuparadze and Kakha Chkhetiani for not reporting the crime.
Tsotne Gamsakhurdia, the son of first president Zviad Gamsakhurdia, was taken to Khechinashvili clinic after he was wounded at Gali Street in Tbilisi on December 19.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia detained five individuals in connection with the case.
