Court convicts 7 persons for attacking media on July 5

The Tbilisi City Court Wednesday delivered a ruling to find seven more persons guilty of attacks against journalists and a rally participant during the anti-Tbilisi Pride parade of July 5, 2021.

According to the ruling, three persons have been accused of attacking reporters, while four more individuals for assaulting a rally participant.

The court ruled a one-year prison term for six of the convicts, and 18 months prison sentence for one more person.
