Our cooperation with China is of utmost importance from various perspectives; political and economic cooperation can yield tangible results for our country and population, stated Irakli Kobakhidze, chair of the ruling Georgian Dream party, who is visiting China.

During the official visit, the members of the Georgian delegation met with Minister Liu Jianchao, who serves as the head of the international department of the Chinese ruling party.

Additionally, discussions took place with the leadership of the research centre under the State Council.

“Signing a strategic partnership agreement last year marked a historic milestone in strengthening ties between China and Georgia. Our objective is to ensure the effective implementation of this agreement, and this visit is instrumental in achieving that goal.

There are numerous areas to enhance the relations, focusing on deepening both the political and economic aspects, leading to tangible and concrete results.

We place great importance on the continued development of relations between Georgia and China,” Irakli Kobakhidze stated.

The delegation from the Georgian ruling party, led by Irakli Kobakhidze, is currently in China.
