Contract signed with international firm ICME Healthcare to design new Republican Hospital block
The Ministry of Health has signed a contract with international engineering and consulting firm ICME Healthcare to design a new, modern facility for the Central Republican Hospital in Tbilisi.
According to the Ministry press office, the project forms part of a wider overhaul of the medical complex. The planned multi-speciality block will house high-tech clinical services that meet international healthcare standards.
“The Ministry of Health has finalised an agreement with international consulting and engineering company ICME Healthcare to prepare the architectural and engineering designs for the new building,” the Ministry said in a statement.
The new facility will feature advanced medical departments including surgical suites, intensive care, resuscitation, emergency medicine, and diagnostic radiology. Clinical services will move to the modernised block, while the hospital’s existing structures undergo comprehensive renovation in line with the approved master plan.
The ministry noted that ICME Healthcare was selected for its extensive global track record in medical infrastructure planning and health systems design.
