Consultations on EC’s 12-point plan underway in parliament

The consultations on the European Council’s 12-point recommendations are ongoing in the parliament. The discussions focus on the first point of the recommendations referring to depolarization.

MPs from Girchi, Citizens, For Georgia opposition parties and opposition MP Khatuna Samnidze are meeting with Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili. Ruling team deputies Anri Okhanashvili and Mikheil Sarjveladze also attend the meeting.

European Council decided on June 23 to grant EU candidate status to Georgia once the priorities outlined in the 12-point recommendations are addressed.
