Conducting safe, high-turnout, contested elections in a free and fair environment in the midst of a global pandemic is a significant accomplishment – Congressman Joe Wilson said in a letter sent to Davit Bakradze, Georgian Ambassador to the United States.
“The Georgian people made their voices heard at the ballot box, and I am heartened by the strong message of support of Georgia’s path toward Euro-Atlantic integration for mutual benefit of economic success, creating jobs and for national security, achieving peace through strength,” Wilson wrote.
Congressman Wilson also said in the letter that he would continue supporting Georgia’s efforts to enhance its electoral process and build a stronger democracy.
