Closing ceremony of Army Camp held in Kojori

The closing ceremony of the Army Camp-Unforgettable Adventures project was held at the Giorgi Antsukhelidze Sergeant Academy military base in Kojori.

According to the Ministry of Defence, Deputy Minister Grigol Giorgadze and Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth Affairs Baia Kvitsiani addressed the youngsters, focusing on the significance of the patriotic spirit.

The Army Camp participants were awarded certificates and memorable gifts. Representatives of the Defence Forces and Georgian Patriarchate attended the ceremony.

Colonel Besik Kutateladze Sachkhere Mountain Training School and Giorgi Antsukhelidze, Sergeant Academy in Kojori, hosted the Army Camp project this year. Within eight rotations, approximately 1700 school students from 9th-11th grades participated in the project.

The project, implemented for the fourth consecutive year by the Defence Ministry and the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth Affairs, aims to raise patriotic spirit among youngsters, popularize a healthy lifestyle and boost awareness about the Georgian defence forces.
