City Court hearing cases of detainees charged over assembly rule violations
The Tbilisi City Court has found Konstantine Mikaia, detained on charges of violating regulations on holding public assemblies and demonstrations, guilty of an administrative offense and sentenced him to 14 days of administrative detention.
The court imposed the same 14-day sentence on Kakha Mikaia, while another detainee, Beka Kurkhuli, received eight days in detention. In a separate ruling, demonstrator Boris Kutsia was sentenced to four days.
Earlier, the court heard the case of another demonstrator, Imeda Kldiashvili, who was sentenced to nine days of administrative detention.
According to the court, hearings for the remaining individuals detained under administrative procedures are still in progress.
