Chinese vaccines rollout to start in Georgia on May 4

The rollout of the Chinese vaccines will likely kick off on May 4. The registration will start on April 27, the Head of the National Centre for Disease Control and Public Health, Amiran Gamkrelidze, said on Monday.

Gamkrelidze claims the Chinese coronavirus vaccines are widely used in 35 countries outside China.

“Chinese vaccines are inactivated. Our trained specialists have extensive experience in the use of these types of vaccines. More than 250 million doses of the Chinese Sinovac and Sinopharm jabs are used globally so far,” NCDC Head added.
