Chinese Premier invites Georgian PM to Shanghai International Import Expo
On behalf of the Chinese government, Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, Li Qiang, has invited the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, to attend the opening ceremony of the 8th International Import Expo, which will be held in Shanghai on November 5, the Government Administration reported.
“Mr. Prime Minister, I look forward to participating in this important event together with you. China and Georgia are good friends and reliable partners. We respect and trust each other, and our mutually beneficial cooperation continues to strengthen. Our strategic partnership is steadily developing, and high-quality cooperation within the framework of the ‘One Belt, One Road’ initiative has already yielded fruitful results,” Li Qiang wrote in his letter to the Georgian Prime Minister.
“On behalf of the Chinese government, I sincerely invite you to the opening ceremony of the 8th International Exhibition. I believe this event will significantly deepen and further enrich bilateral cooperation across various fields, bringing more tangible benefits to our peoples,” the letter states.
