Chinese Ambassador says Transparency Law internal policy, our non-interference means respect for sovereignty

“The Transparency Law is an internal policy of Georgia. Our non-interference means we respect the country’s sovereignty,” said the Chinese Ambassador to Georgia, Zhou Qian, at the briefing.

“The Law on Transparency, which was adopted by the Georgian side, is completely an internal policy issue. One of the main principles of China is that it does not interfere in the internal politics of other countries, and I cannot make such a specific remark. We respect the internal policies of other countries. Our non-interference means respect for the country’s sovereignty,” he said.
