China's Premier congratulates Georgia's new PM Kobakhidze

Li Qiang, Premier of the People’s Republic of China, extends his sincere congratulations to Irakli Kobakhidze on his appointment as the Prime Minister of Georgia.

In the letter addressed to Irakli Kobakhidze, Li Qiang expresses his readiness to collaborate with the new Prime Minister to further strengthen the cooperation between the two countries.

“Your Excellency, I am pleased to learn about your appointment as Georgia’s Prime Minister. On behalf of the Government of the People’s Republic of China and myself, I extend sincere congratulations to you. Currently, the China-Georgia strategic partnership is gaining positive momentum, mutual political trust is deepening, One Belt, One Road cooperation is progressing steadily, and coordination in international relations is growing closer. I am prepared, alongside you, to deepen cooperation between China and Georgia to facilitate the further development of bilateral ties through joint efforts. I extend my best wishes for the prosperity of Georgia and the happiness and health of the Georgian people,” reads the letter.
