Chairman of GPB Board of Trustees pledges full support to Imedi TV, POSTV

Vasil Maghlaperidze, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB), pledges full support to Imedi TV and POSTV.

“As an ordinary citizen of Georgia and Chairman of the GPB’s Board of Trustees, I will stand with and unconditionally support POSTV and Imedi TV!!! Three Exclamation Marks!

P.S. And, hereby, this concerns both natives and foreigners, your menaces … scare those who are afraid of you!,” he wrote in his Facebook post.

On February 24, the UK Government sanctioned two Georgian TV stations, Imedi TV and POSTV, for their involvement in “spreading Russian disinformation.”
