CEC preliminary results: GD leads local elections nationwide

According to the Central Election Commission (CEC), results from 2,233 out of 3,061 polling stations across Georgia have been counted, representing 72.95% of ballots.

Preliminary data shows that the ruling party, Georgian Dream, is leading nationwide in the municipal elections.

The CEC’s preliminary results are as follows:

Fatherland, Language, Faith – 4,203 votes (0.37%)

Conservatives for Georgia – 31,306 votes (2.77%)

Our United Georgia – 4,697 votes (0.42%)

Free Georgia – 3,689 votes (0.33%)

Alliance of Patriots of Georgia – 9,579 votes (0.85%)

Strong Georgia–Lelo – 76,690 votes (6.78%)

Georgia – 1,720 votes (0.15%)

Green Party – 1,906 votes (0.17%)

People’s Government – 2,692 votes (0.24%)

Gakharia for Georgia – 43,647 votes (3.86%)

Girchi – 37,348 votes (3.30%)

Georgian Dream – 913,320 votes (80.77%)

In Tbilisi, with 98% of votes counted, Georgian Dream is also leading in the proportional elections. The preliminary results are:

Fatherland, Language, Faith – 3,020 votes (1.02%)

Conservatives for Georgia – 12,811 votes (4.32%)

Free Georgia – 2,647 votes (0.89%)

Alliance of Patriots of Georgia – 3,151 votes (1.06%)

Strong Georgia–Lelo – 29,807 votes (10.05%)

Gakharia for Georgia – 9,483 votes (3.20%)

Girchi – 22,230 votes (7.50%)

Georgian Dream – 207,985 votes (70.16%)
