The Georgian Central Election Commission (CEC) has made a decision based on which those parties, which were cancelled registration in 2016 and 2017 can also present their candidates for 2018 presidential elections.
Ana Mikeladze, Press Speaker of CEC explained the decision by ensuring fair election environment in the country. “We care that every party could take part in the elections,” Mikeladze said.
“Girchi” Political Party satisfies the requirements as set by CEC. Therefore, the party will be able to present the candidacy of Zurab Japaridze in the forthcoming elections.
