CEC launches election technologies demonstration campaign

The Georgian Central Election Commission (CEC) will launch an election technologies demonstration campaign on July 6.

The imitated ballot process will be held publicly to inform the voters and develop their skills.

For the first time, electronic devices will be applied in 90% of polling stations during the October parliamentary elections. The verification/registration rules and voting procedures change.

The CEC has held similar activities across Georgia in different places and public and private organizations.

“The election administration will regularly implement awareness-raising activities and projects in several stages before the elections,” the CEC said.
