Candidate for post of Chief Prosecutor to be listened to in committees
Shalva Tadumadze, candidate for post of Chief Prosecutor of Georgia will appear before lawmakers in the parliamentary committees on July 15.
Irakli Kobakhidze, Chairman of Parliament set the date of committee hearings. He said that the issue would be raised as part of the plenary session on July 16. Kobakhidze explained that hearing in format of political groups was not envisaged as per the regulations.
Prosecutors’ Council of Justice Ministry selected Shalva Tadumadze for post of Chief Prosecutor. Twelve members of the council voted for, 0 – against.
