The cableway connecting Rustaveli Avenue to Mtatsminda Park has officially opened.

According to Tbilisi City Hall, the round-trip gondola-style cableway features two stations and five masts and has been fully reconstructed.

It transports passengers at a speed of five meters per second using twenty-one cable cars, with a travel time of approximately 4.07 minutes.

The Dagi company constructed the cableway, while the international Doppelmayr Group oversaw the engineering work.

The reconstructed cableway will be managed by the Mtatsminda Park Administration, with a project value of GEL 50 million.
