Botanic Garden to host Sakura Blossom Days on April 4-5

Organized by the Georgian National Botanic Garden, Sakura Blossom Days will be held on April 4 and 5.

The days at the Botanic Garden will feature exhibitions of Japanese handmade crafts, animations, and literature.

Visitors will have the opportunity to attend master classes in Origami (the Japanese art of paper folding) and Shodō (the Japanese art of artistic handwriting or calligraphy), as well as performances of traditional Japanese dances.

Sunday, the second day of the festival, will open with a traditional Japanese tea ceremony, followed by Sushi and Kintsugi master classes.

The sixth Sakura Blossom Days are held with the support of the Tbilisi City Hall and the Japanese Embassy in Georgia.
