Blast in block of apartments in Likani

A blast was heard in a block of apartments in Likani resort, Borjomi Municipality Mayor, Otar Arbolashvili confirmed to the GPB’s First Channel. One woman was injured in the blast. She is hospitalized.

Reportedly, a gas heater exploded, though no exact causes of the blast are determined. All lodgers are evacuated. An expertise will be carried out at the building tomorrow.

The Municipality will provide temporary shelters to the population. Fire-fighters and rescue teams are present at the incident scene.
