Bidzina Ivanishvili: I would like to express my gratitude to voters, who had adequate reaction in both rounds of elections
I would like to express my gratitude to the voters, who had the absolutely adequate reaction in both the first and the second rounds of elections, – Bidzina Ivanishvili, Chairman of Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia Party made this statement after announcing the results of the exit-polls.
“After the first round, it was probably dangerous to make a reaction to the exit poll, but as far as this is not our internal poll, but a poll conducted by a foreign company, and that our opponent also announced exit poll results, we can really react to it. We are grateful to our voters and the society in general.
I would like to express my gratitude to the voters, our society in general. If I fully evaluate the process, what was happened in the first or second round of elections and in general in recent months, how the situation has developed in politics, the very good assessments can be made.
First and foremost, the voter, our society has realized his power and acknowledged that the levers are in its hands and had the absolutely adequate reaction in both – the first and the second rounds of elections, ” – Bidzina Ivanishvili said.
Based on the results of exit-polls, carried out by Edison Research and Gallup, Salome Zurabishvili an independent presidential candidate supported by the ruling Georgian Dream Party wins the elections.
