Beka Odisharia: GPB new management asserts that it will break bewitched circle

“We all agree that existence of Public Broadcaster and its independence, publicity and quality is important for building of a democratic society, any political force in short or long-term perspective,” Beka Odisharia, a member of the parliamentary majority said when commenting on President’s motivated remarks of the legislative package over Law on Broadcaster discussed during the plenary sitting in the parliament today.

Odisharia remarked that one part of the society always manages to politicize the issue. He said he was well aware of the situation at Public Broadcaster due to lack of the material-technical base. But he knew that GPB had professional journalists. “Now GPB had new management with new business plan. The new management asserts that it will break bewitched circle,” Odisharia stated.
