Batumi Republican Hospital reports Gakharia has fractured nasal bone; he already left clinic
The Batumi Republican Hospital has reported that Giorgi Gakharia, a leader of Gakharia for Georgia party, has a fractured nasal bone.
As the head of the emergency department, Jumber Bolkvadze, informed journalists, the patient underwent examinations and left the clinic of his own accord.
“The citizen was brought in at 02:34 AM, with injuries to his facial area. According to his account, he was physically assaulted. He underwent examinations, his condition was of moderate severity, and he was discharged from the clinic. He left the clinic of his own desire. He was contactable and responsive. A fracture of the nasal bones was observed, but it was not a surgical or severe case,” stated the doctor.
According to available information, Giorgi Gakharia was assaulted in Batumi. The party’s press office confirmed the fact of the attack to the GPB First Channel, although they did not specify the particulars of the assault.
