Bakuriani 2023 officially opens today

Freestyle, Snowboard and Freeski World Championships – Bakuriani 2023 will officially open on Saturday.

Popular singers and folklore ensembles will take part in the solemn ceremony. Visitors will observe the tournament from the specially arranged spaces. They will have the opportunity to buy souvenirs, taste Georgian traditional dishes and wine.

Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) will live-transmit the tournament.

Georgia hosts Freestyle, Snowboard and Freeski World Championships for the first time. The tournament takes place from February 16 to March 5 in Bakuriani resort under the aegis of the International Ski Federation (FIS), with the participation of about 700 athletes from 42 countries.
