Azerbaijani President: If Armenia tries to take control of our pipelines, consequences will be severe

“If Armenia tries to take control of our pipelines, the consequences will be severe,” said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in an interview with Turkish TV channel Haberturk.

“Armenia is trying to attack our pipelines and gain control over them. If Armenia tries to take control of the natural gas pipelines there, the consequences will be more strident,” Aliyev said.

In addition, the President of Azerbaijan once again spoke about the involvement of Turkey in the negotiation process. Aliyev said the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict could not be resolved without Turkish intervention.
