Azerbaijani PM congratulates Georgian counterpart on Election Victory

Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister, Ali Asadov, congratulated Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on the Georgian Dream party’s victory in the parliamentary elections.

According to a statement from the Azerbaijani Prime Minister’s administration, Asadov described the victory as a reaffirmation of the Georgian people’s support for the current political course.

“The PM’s letter expressed confidence that the election results would promote Georgia’s progress and prosperity while enhancing the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Georgia, rooted in longstanding traditions of friendship and good neighborliness between the two nations,” states Azerbaijani PM’s administration.
