Awarding Ceremony of Best Sportsman of 2018 on First Channel

Georgia’s Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports will hold an awarding ceremony of Best Sportsman of 2018 at Rustaveli Theatre at 19:00 tonight.

Outstanding sportsmen will be also revealed in 14 nominations. Ten special prizes are set. Georgia’s President, Prime Minister, representatives of executive and legislative authorities, Tbilisi Mayor, heads of Olympic Committees, journalists and invited guests will attend the event directed by Zaal Chikobava. Elene Kalandadze and Andria Gvelesiani will be presenters.

Zviad Bolqvadze will head the musical part of the activity. Singers Oto Nemsadze, Sofo Batilashvili, Giorgi Gigashvili, Group Newton and the Georgian National Ballet Ensemble “Sukhishvilebi” will participate in the event. First Channel will air the awarding ceremony live.
