JJ from Austria with the song “Wasted Love” won the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest (ESC). The 25-year-old Austrian contender received 436 points. This means that Austria will host the 2026 ESC.

The highest 12 points from Georgia’s national jury went to Italy.

The votes from Georgia were as follows: 

Based on the rules of the contest, only viewers decided on qualification of semi-finalists into the grand-finals, while both the jury and viewers participated in the voting in the finals.

The results of the finals look as follows:

Twenty-six countries qualified for the finals.

St. Jakobshalle arena in Basel, Switzerland hosted the popular musical contest.

The 2025 ESC was held with its permanent slogan United By Music.

Thirty-seven countries participated in the 2025 ESC.

The Semi-Finals were held on May 13 and 15, while the Grand-Final – on May 17.

Georgia was represented at this year’s Eurovision by Mariam Shengelia with her song “Freedom.”

The Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) First Channel transmitted the event live.
