Parliament Speaker says society remains concerned about Saakashvili's friends obstructing justice

Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili cites an excerpt from the European Court of Human Rights’ 2011 judgement in the Sandro Girgvliani case.

“Court noted with particular concern how the different branches of State power had all acted in concert in preventing justice from being done in that gruesome homicide [Sandro Girgvliani’s] case,’ – European Court of Human Rights, 2011.”

“Years pass, and Georgian society remains concerned by the orchestrated attempts of Mikheil Saakashvili’s Georgian friends and foreign patrons to ensure that justice is not served in the case of this horrible murder,” Papuashvili said on Facebook.
